Hello everyone and welcome to Home School: The Forum. My name is Tanya and I'm a homeschooler of 3; mom of 5.

We home school grades 7, 5, and 2, formally--preschool informally. (That means we don't push and use small moments of focus to "play" school.)

We live in North Carolina and have been a home school family off and on for the past 13 years. My kids have been both enrolled in traditional public school and homeschooled. Obviously, homeschooling is our preference.

I look forward to meeting everyone and learning all of your stories. Whether you have 13 kids and homeschool every one of them or still have children enrolled in public school and are interested in learning about homeschooling, everyone is welcome!
